Rajeev's career spans leading large cross-functional
teams at IBM and Xerox. His leadership assignments include direct
customer facing roles and headquarters assignments.
His headquarters positions with worldwide responsibility included
strategic assignments for alliances and relationships with technology
partners, product management and product marketing. Other
responsibilities include restructuring business models, test of new
technology platforms, and sales coverage plans.
In customer facing and budget carrying assignments, his teams led sales of
new technology products in the Western region and topped the US sales
teams. Rajeev led the introduction of new technologies and solutions for
Xerox and IBM.
His critical contributions resulted from strategic high visibility
projects that impacted Xerox and IBM. They ranged from reversing excessive
turnover for service engineers, costly for the company and customers, to
dismantling a packaged solution that was no longer a profitable
investment.
Success in these highly visible, cross-functional, and contentious
projects came from teamwork. Notable among many awards Rajeev has received
is Xerox's Teamwork Award his team won for a host-software solution.
Rajeev attributes his success to many mentors and the Quality training at
Xerox and IBM. His teams, projects and deliverables incorporate the
Project Management methodology and Six Sigma measurements.
Rajeev attained his Bachelors of Science from Syracuse University and a
Masters in Business Management from University of Houston. He also
attended the University of Southern California executive program for
marketing.
